About the event
The BCRP and BCRW are excited to have Senator Webb join us during one of BCRP's "3rd Tuesday" monthly meetings!
Senator Webb, already a neighbor and friend to many in our area, is an advocate for the underrepresented in rural Northeastern KY. She was raised here, shares our culture, and upholds our values. Among her many achievements, Senator Webb earned two mining degrees from Morehead State University and later attended law school at Northern Kentucky University. As a lawyer, she began her career as an Environmental Prosecutor for the state in surface mining. Throughout her career, she worked alongside coal miners, often underground, long before it was common for women to do so. A dedicated member of Kentucky's General Assembly, she continues to represent her constituents in Senate District 18, which includes Boyd, Carter, Greenup, and Lewis counties.
